Tania Salgado-Nealous, chief human resources officer at Vectorworks Inc.<\/a>, has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie\u00ae Award in the 2021 International Business Awards\u00ae<\/h2>\n

Tania Salgado-Nealous was named the winner of a Silver Stevie\u00ae Award in the Human Resources Executive of the Year category at the 18th<\/sup> annual International Business Awards\u00ae<\/a> (IBAs).<\/p>\n

The IBAs are the world\u2019s premier business awards programme, open to all individuals and organisations worldwide.<\/p>\n

The 2021 IBAs received more than 3,700 nominations from organisations of all sizes and industries in 63 different nations and territories.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s competition featured a number of categories to recognise organisations\u2019 and individuals\u2019 responses to the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

The various and creative employee engagement efforts Tania Salgado-Nealous has implemented in her 14-year career at Vectorworks<\/a> has helped to make employee\u2019s lives better not only at the office, but also at home.<\/p>\n

Since 2019, Salgado-Nealous has executed paid paternity leave for employees, hired over 70 new employees for the US, UK and Canada offices and helped to reinforce and communicate Vectorworks\u2019 core values<\/a> of inclusion, balance, collaboration and innovation.<\/p>\n

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, she also successfully oversaw the transition of all three company offices to full-time remote work in less than one business day, implemented several pandemic-friendly employee engagement activities<\/a> and transitioned company training and development opportunities to a new virtual environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter such a remarkable year and a half tackling great adversity, I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this achievement,\u201d said Vectorworks chief executive officer, Dr Biplab Sarkar.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we\u2019ve seen in this year\u2019s IBA nominations is that organisations around the world, in every sector, have continued to innovate and succeed, despite the setbacks, obstacles and tragedies of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic,\u201d said Stevie Awards president, Maggie Gallagher.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of this year\u2019s Stevie Award winners are to be applauded for their persistence and their resilience.<\/p>\n
