{"id":98629,"date":"2021-09-02T08:22:34","date_gmt":"2021-09-02T07:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/?p=98629"},"modified":"2021-09-02T08:22:34","modified_gmt":"2021-09-02T07:22:34","slug":"wernick-acquires-danzer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/wernick-acquires-danzer\/98629\/","title":{"rendered":"Wernick acquires Danzer to increase cabins and modular bays"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/wernick-acquires-plant-hire\/86278\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new acquisition<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/avdanzer.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AVDanzer<\/a> will allow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wernick.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wernick<\/a> to add additional manufacturing capabilities and increase its fleet with more than 2,000 cabins and modular bays<\/h2>\n<p>Danzer is a Manchester-based firm that supplies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/modular-education-buildings\/94440\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">modular buildings<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/hiring-site-accommodation\/77583\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sale or for hire<\/a>. The business has a long history of catering to some of the UK\u2019s major infrastructure and development projects including the London Power Tunnels Project and the nuclear power station at Hinkley Point in Somerset.<\/p>\n<p>Danzer are widely known to cater to a range of sectors and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/mmc-news\/mmc-school-building\/88391\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">can provide schools<\/a>, hospitals, offices, laboratories, sports facilities and more.<\/p>\n<p>The company will continue to operate as usual from its sites in Manchester and Langley Mill.<\/p>\n<p>The manufacturing of anti-vandal steel that is currently based at Langley Mill will continue trading as AVDanzer. Meanwhile, the Brentwood depot will merge and become a part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbctoday.co.uk\/news\/stakeholders\/wernick-modular-accommodation\/87958\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wernick<\/a>\u2019s depots in Essex and Kent.<\/p>\n<h3>Keeping things simple<\/h3>\n<p>Wernick\u2019s group chairman, David Wernick, said: \u201cWe have strong admiration for Danzer\u2019s manufacturing capability and products, and after initial discussion it quickly became apparent that both family-owned businesses share the same values of excellent customer service, outstanding product quality, focus on safety, and keeping things simple.<\/p>\n<p>We are delighted to welcome the Danzer team to the family and look forward to sharing ideas and growing the business further.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Director at AVDanzer, Dan Holloway, added:\u00a0\u201cWe pride ourselves on being agile and innovative to adapt to new market conditions;
