Aberla M&E, part of the Aberla Group<\/a>, has landed a \u00a320m contract to deliver the MEP on the Viadux development in Central Manchester<\/h2>\n

The MEP contract<\/a> package includes full mechanical & electrical infrastructure, ventilation and fire\/security, apartment & commercial fit-outs on the Viadux scheme.<\/p>\n

Viadux comprises residential properties, a spa, aquarium, cinema and a 14-story office tower with 240,000 sq ft of workspace.<\/p>\n

The grade II listed arches, which stand above Deansgate Locks, will be fully preserved.<\/p>\n

Paul McCarren, chief executive officer at Aberla, said: \u201cThe delivery of Viadux will be a challenge, but it will allow us to showcase the level of expertise and capabilities of our team.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have successfully worked with Domis on several great projects over the last couple of years, but this will arguably be the most impressive so far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kingsley Thornton, director at Domis Construction<\/a>, added: \u201cWe\u2019re really excited about Viadux, as it\u2019s our most complex project to date.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s important we work with trusted partners on projects of this scale, so we will call on Aberla\u2019s engineering expertise to deliver the MEP<\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Viadux brings a unique feel to the city and will be added to Aberla\u2019s list of growing contract wins across the UK.<\/p>\n

The North-West MEP specialists have completed work on several projects in and around the region and contributed to the development of over 2,000 apartments in the Manchester property boom.<\/p>\n

Work on the landmark \u00a3300m Viadux development is now underway, and the project has an anticipated completion of Spring 2024.<\/p>\n
