Amey<\/a> has secured a five-year contract with National Grid Electricity Transmission<\/a> on the RIIO-T2 electricity construction mechanical and electrical installation framework<\/h2>\n

The contract will see Amey deliver the design and build works on substations, as part of the National Grid Electricity Transmission asset replacement and build programme.<\/p>\n

The five-year framework<\/a> requires Amey\u2019s team to deliver works on the electricity transmission system including asset replacement, network reinforcement and connections.<\/p>\n

Amey\u2019s Power business has a long-serving and dedicated team of technical and construction specialists that have worked with National Grid since 2013.<\/p>\n

The team has also worked with a range of energy providers on projects across the UK upgrading and reinforcing transmission and distribution electrical infrastructure<\/a>, including wind farm connections and high voltage direct current (HVDC) developments.<\/p>\n

Focus on sustainability and affordability<\/h3>\n
