Not every project we work on is a shed on an empty site. Usually, there are a lot of existing steels or walls, slabs etc. that our new steelwork needs to fit around. This session will look at how we create the existing environment in Advance Steel and set it up correctly, and we will look at –
Modelling existing Steel, so we don’t accidentally order it
Model concrete walls, slabs
Model any cut-outs in these walls/slabs
Look at how these existing elements can be shown on drawings
