Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) first found its home in many organisations as a way to host virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) as it takes traditional, siloed technologies and adds an additional software layer to provide the benefits of a cloud model.

Along with many other benefits, the main reason companies within the construction sector have been adopting this technology is due to its scalability. For instance as your practice grows or you take on new projects, you can simply add HCI nodes to accommodate new VDI users.
