coBuilder growing with the industry
Operating on the market for 18 years, coBuilder has gained a reputation as a construction data expert within the AECO industry. Right from the start, we have aimed to help our partners meet European, national, market-driven, regulatory and environmental requirements by providing them with easy and comprehensive product data solutions.
As a construction data expert, coBuilder is focused on the development of comprehensive software solutions for the AECO industry with a strong emphasis on helping clients determine their product data requirements, assisting manufacturers in freeing their data from PDFs, and supporting contractors with collecting the required data and FM’s with utilising it. All of that within a seamless information flow.
coBuilder’s goBIM platform was released in 2015 and has so far attracted the attention of large UK-based manufacturers, including Wienerberger, Knauf Insulation, Siniat, Tarmac and others. goBIM helps manufacturers digitise their product data by lifting it from the PDFs and turning it into digital BIM-ready data. Based on cutting-edge technology, goBIM offers a great competitive advantage for the manufacturer within an industry that is set on a digitalisation path.
In 2015, coBuilder introduced ProductXchange in the UK – a solution for automating data collection and distribution throughout the building life cycle. ProductXchange ensures easy collection of as-built data at every stage of the building process, allowing seamless control whilst providing unprecedentedly accurate data for handover to clients and FMs. With its profound COBie structuring and export functionality, PXC attracted some of the major UK contractors such as Skanska, Willmott Dixon, Carillion and Kier.
Today, coBuilder is rapidly expanding and has gone on a journey to revolutionise the ways construction data is handled Europe-wide. coBuilder is a member of the openBIM standards body – buildingSMART International, helping clients, designers, manufacturers and contractors to collect and distribute relevant data associated with the free flow of construction products.
coBuilder’s work is supported by the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) and The International Union of Painting Contractors (UNIEP), who have trusted us with the development of highly innovative software solutions, improving significantly the product information exchange between supply chain players.
