Neil has delivered a world first by conceptualising a waste heat off take for a low carbon farming venture using waste heat from sewage. Alongside his day job, he imagined, developed and delivered Sandford Hydro, the largest hydro on the Thames and community funded. Highly efficient at building strong, long-term relationships with clients and suppliers, and following projects through from inception to successful completion, delivering profitability.
Neil has over 35 years of thermal engineering experience from exemplar domestic, through commercial and industrial, to utility scale. Experience gained working in the UK, Europe, North America, Canada, Lithuania, Cyprus, Sudan and sub-Saharan Africa based out of Cape Town. Expert in GSHP/ASHP/WSHP designs, applications, and installations.
Extensive knowledge of: GSHP, simultaneous heating/cooling, 4th, 5th & 6th generation heat networks. Combined Heat and Power. Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic systems, also PVT. Thermal building load modelling – heating, cooling, and domestic hot water demand (SAP, Heva Comp, IES). Mechanical building services distribution systems design (HVAC).
