For all you Construction enthusiasts, Mick George Ltd has a trio of videos for you to enjoy. RAF Brampton, the former Ministry of Defence premises, located in Cambridgeshire is nearing completion of a 32-week Demolition project undergone by Mick George Ltd. Since the MOD announced that the site was surplus to requirements back in 2006, it was subsequently officially closed in 2013, lying redundant until only last year, when it was sold to property developers.
The 70-acre development, which is set to house up to 500 residential homes and other community dwellings, has been subject to a host of Hard and Soft Demolition activity, and large scale Asbestos removal. The main 3 storey ‘Administration’ building (featured) was privileged to be on the receiving end of the first action from the exclusive EC480E High Reach plant that the company added to its impressive list equipment.
Watch the Main Administration building which was formally occupied by the Ministry of Defence (MOD), be dismantled piece by piece.
Watch the Energy MAST being cut down.
Watch the support’ buildings being demolished.
