GEO|Design+BIM, a platform that highlights the use of geospatial data analytics and BIM in asset spatial design, construction, and operation and maintenance, is now accepting speaker proposals
The event is scheduled to take place from 1-2 November 2018, in Amsterdam.
This year, GEO|Design+BIM will delve further into the integration of geospatial technology and BIM, and other associated industry trends including big data analytics, IoT sensors, drones, virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), robotics, cloud worksharing, modular/offsite construction, city information modeling, digital twin, etc.
Speakers with expertise in any of the following areas are encouraged to submit proposals:
- BIM & Analytics
- BIM+IoT for Facility Management
- City Information Modeling
- Sub-surface Modeling
- Drones & Robotics for Construction
- Virtual & Augmented Reality
- Cloud worksharing / Integrated Project Delivery
- GEO|Design+BIM for Modular/Offsite construction
- 3D & Digital Twin
- Other potential topics.
Proposals can be submitted at https://geo-bim.org/europe/submit-abstract.asp. The deadline for submissions is 30 June.
GEO|Design+BIM gathers 200+ focused audience from the building and infrastructure community in Europe, especially from construction/engineering firms, architectural firms, ministry and municipalities, and technology providers.
The conference has introduced Autodesk as its first Gold Sponsor this year.
GEO|Design+BIM is a one of its kind event in Europe, highlighting and initiating discussions related to the use of geospatial data analytics and BIM in asset spatial design, construction, operation and maintenance. The event is a combination of two innovative platforms: GeoDesign Summit Europe and GeoBIM Europe, which were organised separately since 2013. Understanding the relevance and importance of bringing the geospatial analytics, spatial planning, architecture, engineering, construction and operation/maintenance professionals together in one platform, a combined effort was initiated in 2017, giving birth to this exciting integrated event.
