The Construction Computing awards, or “The Hammers”, as they are affectionately known, showcase and reward technologies, tools, and solutions for the effective design, construction, maintenance, and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing, and civil engineering projects of all sizes.

Nemetschek Group brands were nominated 17 times

The Nemetschek Group brands Bluebeam, Graphisoft, SCIA, Solibri, and Vectorworks, were nominated 17 times, including in the categories “BIM Software of the Year,” “Project Management Software of the Year,” and “Product of the Year.”

Graphisoft, nominated in seven categories, won the awards for “Mobile Technology of the Year” for their BIMx platform, as well as “BIM Product of the Year” for Graphisoft Archicad.

Solibri, who was nominated nine times, won the prestigious awards in the category “Company of the Year 2022”, and Vectorworks, nominated in five categories as well, won the “Hammers” in the “Architectural Design Software of the Year 2022” category.

In addition, Jonathan Reeves Architecture’s Forest homes project, designed in Vectorworks, was judged “AR/VR Project of the Year 2022.”

Challenges faced by the construction industry can only be met by digitalisation

Viktor Várkonyi, chief division officer of planning & design, and member of the Executive Board of the Nemetschek Group, commented: “We are honoured to win four ‘Hammers.’ Our brands are always close to the needs of our customers.

“This approach was rewarded once again on Thursday night. My thanks go to my colleagues for their commitment to helping their customers to shape the world. We are convinced that the challenges the construction industry is facing can only be met together — and with more digitalisation.”

Graphisoft, Solibri, and Vectorworks are part of the Planning & Design Division of the Nemetschek Group. With its four divisions – Planning & Design, Build & Construct, Manage & Operate, and Media & Entertainment – the Nemetschek Group covers the entire building life cycle.

This year, the “Hammers” were awarded in more than 30 categories. The ceremony took place in London on November 10, 2022.
