Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) refers to a wide range of construction techniques, varying from offsite manufacturing, to onsite methods which provide an alternative to traditional methods of construction. The alternative, modern approach to construction has been linked to significant benefits such as speeding up construction delivery, increased quality and reduced labour costs to name a few. Recently we have seen a renewed interest in Modern Methods of Construction as more contractors, housebuilders and developers make use of the variety of systems available. The events of 2020 have caused a marked shift in focus, the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated many businesses into exploring ways of doing things better, this has led to a marked increase in clients wanting to explore Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) to enable them to meet their business goals.
