She has a wealth of experience in pioneering organisational transformation, including cultural and structural change.

The appointment follows a productive year at BAM

BAM’s integrated facilities management business is part of Royal BAM Group’s BAM UK and Ireland division, which also delivers construction, civil engineering, property development, design and other services.

Recent completed developments from BAM include the first rooftop helipad in the country with direct access to emergency services at the Major Trauma Hospital at Salford Royal Hospital and the seven storey Globe Point office development in Leeds.

The company also recently brought forward it’s carbon reduction targets, now aiming to achieve net zero by 2026.

Delivering decarbonisation commitments in both public and private sectors

Abbe Pickthall commented: ‘I’m delighted to be leading BAM’s Integrated Facilities Management business, this is a fantastic opportunity for us to refocus and transform our service offering, to establish what our customers expect and how, acting collaboratively, we can deliver those needs using sustainable and innovative technologies.

“Our industry is constantly evolving and expects decarbonisation commitments and energy efficient solutions whilst providing an unrivalled end-to-end service. The team and I look forward to growing the business across both public and private sectors.”
