Balfour Beatty has appointed Jo Gilroy as the new UK director of sustainability, who will be responsible for driving forward Balfour Beatty’s sustainability strategy, as well as reporting the Group’s performance against the bold targets and ambitions set out in its “Building New Futures” sustainability strategy

Jo Gilroy has joined Balfour Beatty as director of sustainability from Kier, where she held the position of group head of sustainability and environment.

Prior to Kier, she was head of sustainability and corporate responsibility at the FTSE 100 distribution and logistics group – Bunzl.

Ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the vital net zero transition
