Esh Construction has opened a new regional operations centre. The facility, located in Swillington West Yorkshire, will be used to support teams in county and the East Midlands.
Esh Construction, which is part of the Esh Group, will operate from the site with specialist divisions Lumsden and Carroll, Esh Property Services, Esh Build and Esh Facilities Services. The facility will provide some 8,000 sq ft of warehouse space, as well as a large office.
Esh employs 1,200 people across the north of England and Scotland. Currently, some 250 people are employed by the Yorkshire operation across sectors such as civil engineering, building, commercial and residential property development.
Esh’s regional managing director Andy Gawthorpe said: “Our new operations centre will help us operate more effectively across the region and provide a base for future growth.
“It is a vote of confidence in the strength of the construction sector in Yorkshire.”
Turnover for Esh reportedly grew 43 per cent on the previous year to £277m.
