National Timber Systems secures key frameworks with Vistry Group

National Timber Systems has been selected to join two frameworks for the homebuilder, Vistry Group

National Timber Systems is a division of National Timber Group specialising in engineered wood products.

The company was founded in 2019 through the unification of the engineered wood products divisions of two National Timber Group groups, Arnold Laver and NYTimber.

What does the company offer?

National Timber Systems serves housebuilders, developers, and the modular construction sector, on a national scale. Their product offerings include NTSROOF® panelised roof systems, floor and wall cassettes, engineered joists, roof trusses, and spandrel panels.

“We’re very proud to be joining the Vistry frameworks for engineered joists, and roof trusses and spandrel panels,” said Rob Timmens, company sales director, who led the work to secure the two three-year deals.

“We have a strong track record of working with national customers and have the capability to deliver nationally from our strategically placed manufacturing sites across the country. The Vistry account will be managed by an experienced design and sales team, who have a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the housebuilding sector,” he continued.

National Timber Systems has ambitious plans for the future

The company has an annual turnover of nearly £50m and supports a workforce of 240 workers across design, manufacturing, sales, and delivery. The company operates across multiple locations, including Sheffield, Catterick, Bristol, and Newcastle.

They are is currently building a new facility in Wolverhampton, which has created 100 additional jobs. The new site is set to commence full operations at the beginning of 2024, focusing on the production of NTSROOF® panelised roof systems, floor cassettes, engineered joists, and roof trusses.
