Footage of a new 650,000 sq ft TopHat modular housebuilding factory in Corby has been released
Modular housebuilder TopHat is already delivering up to 800 homes a year from its existing factory in Derby.
Proprietary technology is used to design and build homes which have architectural flexibility, are low in embodied carbon and require a low amount of energy to run.
The new factory will combine the use of almost 60 robots with the creation of 1,000 green tech jobs.
Jordan Rosenhaus, founder and CEO of TopHat, said: “New homes built to the highest standards are desperately needed to help solve the UK housing crisis.
“Combining our design platform with cutting edge robotics will enable TopHat to build energy efficient, high-quality homes at scale for an affordable price.”
