As a new director in the West Midlands, Lucy Nicholson will focus on growing the presence of the Marrons heritage team

The appointment of Lucy Nicholson further strengthens Marrons’ growing heritage capability and supports increasing demand for integrated heritage, townscape, and planning expertise.

As a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, Lucy has worked nationally on large-scale strategic land sites, tall building proposals, environmental impact assessment (EIA) schemes, and heritage and townscape assessments.

Extensive experience advising on heritage-led regeneration schemes

Her background spans law, spatial planning, urban design, and real estate finance, giving her a multidisciplinary perspective on heritage and the built environment.

Her role encompasses advising on site promotion, strategic land inputs, tall building and regeneration schemes, and listed building and heritage statements through the planning process.

Lucy said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Marrons at such an exciting point in the consultancy’s growth. Marrons’ reputation for excellence, its multidisciplinary approach, and the opportunity to work alongside some of the best talent in the industry were major draws for me.

“I’m looking forward to helping establish Marrons as one of the leading heritage consultancies in the country to unlock opportunities and deliver great value to clients and the community.”
