Galliford Try has been selected for a procurement contract on a £3bn CCS Security framework, to be delivered by GT’s Asset Intelligence business

Galliford Try has been appointed to the new £3bn Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework for Security – Physical, Technical and Support Services.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8bn, supporting the delivery of public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The business has been appointed to all four lots of the new procurement vehicle which covers video surveillance systems, the installation and maintenance of security systems, guarding services, consultancy and risk and security assessments.

All activity under the framework will be delivered by Galliford Try’s security specialist business Asset Intelligence

The Security Services framework is open to central Government and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and the devolved administrations.

The appointment follows Galliford Try’s acquistion of  nmcn water in 2021, which added 50 specialist security designers, installers, commissioning specialists and management, strengthening Galliford Try’s existing security construction team. The combined security and active fire disciplines now work as a single streamlined business known as Asset Intelligence.

Galliford Try was also recently appointed to the CCS’s Facilities Management and Workplace Services framework earlier this year.

Delivering value to CCS, their partners and communities

Uzair Osman, managing director of Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence business, commented: “This framework success helps drive forward our ambition to become the physical and electronic security partner of choice for UK public sector organisations, providing them access to our core skills and national presence.

“We look forward to collaborating with CCS to deliver security excellence and value to their partners and the communities they work in.”
