Cheshunt Lakeside residential development

Inland Homes have announced their first collection of homes in Hertfordshire. The Cheshunt Lakeside residential development is due to launch in the summer, and will provide 1,700 new homes

The Cheshunt Lakeside residential development will provide private sale, rent, and affordable housing options.

Elan Apartments will be the first to launch onto the private market, and comprise of 22 one and two bedroom apartments situated on Windmill Lane, just a five minute walk from Cheshunt railway station.

The Help to Buy scheme will be available on a selection of properties for first-time buyers, and the upcoming phase will also deliver commercial space on the ground floor of the building.

Alongside new housing, the Cheshunt Lakeside residential development will provide commercial space, which could be used to accommodate numerous retail options such as independent and well-known shops and supermarket stores, restaurants and an on-site gym.

Families will also be catered for, with a new two form entry nursery and primary school due to be built on the site, as well as pocket parks, upgraded transport links and safe pedestrian and cycle routes.

Residents at Cheshunt Lakeside will have access to a plethora of leisure and retail facilities, all on their doorstep.

The regeneration of the Cheshunt Lakeside site will also provide £250k worth of improvements to Cheshunt railway station as well as a new bus route to and from the station, providing an ideal base for commuters.

The train line into Central London is quick and convenient, with direct services to London Liverpool Street in 24 minutes, from which four tube lines can be picked up for travel around the city.

Cheshunt rail station will also be on the line for the proposed Crossrail 2 service, further improving inner city connections.

The nearby A10 connects residents to the M25 and wider motorway network, whilst international travel is made easy with Stansted Airport just over a 30 minute drive from Cheshunt.
