M&J Evans has completed the acquisition of Flynn Group Ltd, an established ground works and civils business based in Swindon and Bristol, covering the South West of England
This acquisition is another significant milestone for the M&J Evans group and our growth strategy. Flynn Group Ltd. has been based in Swindon since 1975 and has grown to become one of the leading ground engineering companies in the South West region.
Flynn Group is run by Alf Hambidge who has over 35 years of experience within the industry.
The company are delighted Alf will be remaining with the business as managing director and will join the senior leadership team of M&J Evans.
M&J Evans has got to know the management team over the past few months and we are looking forward to working with them closer to grow an already strong business. The company have had support with this transaction from Freshstream, KPMG, Grant Thornton, and Pinsent Mason.

Growth in this area has seen the company’s plant business recently move to new premises in the Midlands. These new and improved premises provide M&J with the space to grow further so they can continue building a successful plant business.
