Special Projects Division launched by Red Construction

A new special projects division has been revealed by Red Construction, aimed at delivering construction services on building projects valued from £100k to £7m

Red Construction Group has unveiled a new special projects division. The new operating division will join the regional arms of the company, RED London and RED South West.

The new special projects division will offer dedicated services for refurbishments and alterations

Working across a wide scope of industries, RED Special Projects will primarily focus on the commercial, residential, hotel, and retail arenas.

The team also has extensive expertise in specialist areas such as cladding replacement and enabling works, listed building refurbishments and structural alterations.

RED Special Projects benefits from its relationship with RED Construction Group, with clients having access to the company’s wider supply chain, and having the flexibility to call upon the additional resource of the Group whenever necessary.

Nathan Farrar will lead the special projects team

Overseeing some of the company’s most complex and demanding projects, Nathan joined RED Construction Group in 2017 and leads the specialist team.

Joining Nathan is commercial director, Adam Sturge, who has worked at RED Construction Group since its conception.

Nathan Farrar, construction director of the RED Special Projects division, added: “Delivering projects throughout London and beyond, RED Special Projects is experienced in inner-city working with restricted sites, logistical challenges, and stringent technical demands.

“RED Construction Group has worked on these smaller, specialist projects from the outset, however, the formation of RED Special Projects brings the expertise gained through larger scale development while retaining those specific skill sets needed for smaller projects.”

Part of Red Construction’s growth into larger projects

Graham Sturge, CEO, RED Construction Group, commented: “The Special Projects arm was formed, in part, because the success of RED Construction Group was encouraging clients and professional teams to put us forward for larger projects.

“Given our organic growth into these larger projects, we wanted to introduce a dedicated team to retain a strong focus on sub £7m projects and pursue them with the same vigour and enthusiasm as we did from our first day of operations. With a wealth of experience between them and a longstanding relationship with both RED Construction Group and our clients, Nathan and Adam are the ideal team to be heading up this operation.”
