Reef Group has appointed Ardmore to deliver the final phase of the Kings Cross life sciences campus, Tribeca

Phase two of the Kings Cross life sciences campus follows the delivery of the first laboratory building, named Apex, which secured The London BioScience Innovation Centre as its first tenant.

Tribeca sits in the centre of four converging London districts: Camden, Kings Cross, Euston and Regents Park.

Phase two is estimated to be worth around £240m

Ardmore will deliver three new buildings as part of the second phase of the Kings Cross life sciences campus: The Reflector, The Assembly, and The Connector.

The buildings will offer modern and advanced lab spaces for life science buildings and are set to meet top sustainability criteria, securing a BREEAM Excellent certification and a Wired Score Platinum rating.

The construction of the project is logistically challenging

James Byrne, Ardmore director, commented: “We are thrilled to have been appointed to deliver the final phase of the Tribeca life sciences campus in King’s Cross.

“I am especially pleased that Reef has shown such confidence in us to deliver one of their most prestigious schemes.

“We’ve put together a highly skilled team for this project, who have worked under a PCSA for the last 12 months to ensure the scheme remained deliverable and viable.

“This award underlines our ability to de-risk complex projects, combining our extensive experience of large-scale commercial and residential construction and our ability to unlock logistically challenging schemes.”
