Trimble Viewpoint’s Field View solution takes home ‘Mobile Technology of the Year’ and ‘Digital Construction Project of the Year’ for Hinkley Point C

Trimble’s Viewpoint Field View solution won two wins at the 2023 Construction Computing Awards, also known as the Hammers.

Field View is helping construction companies of all sizes improve quality management, deliver defect-free projects, and comply with the latest building regulations.

Trimble Viewpoint was awarded with the Mobile Technology of the Year and Digital Construction Project of the Year

Trimble Viewpoint also walked away with ‘Digital Construction Project of the Year’ for Connecting Britain’s Biggest Nuclear Power Station, the construction of Hinkley Point C.

The project involved Trimble Viewpoint Field View, Trimble Tekla Structures structural design software, and the Trimble Connect common data environment used by the project’s civil engineering works, BYLOR, to turn traditional paper-based processes digital.

The Trimble team also took home the ‘Structural Engineering Application of the Year’ award

Additionally, the Trimble team took home ‘Structural Engineering Application of the Year’ for its solution, Tekla Structural Designer.

The solution gives engineers the power to analyse and design buildings efficiently and profitably.

The Hammers Awards are one of the UK’s premier honours for construction technology developers. They represent an excellent opportunity for construction companies involved in engineering projects of all sizes to claim recognition for their business and operations undertaken over the past year.
