Amey has appointed Frazer Meiklejohn as its new operations director to bolster its project capability in Scotland
Frazer Meiklejohn will lead the account teams which deliver facilities management and lifecycle works for many schools across Scotland and oversee the delivery of specialist projects.
Meiklejohn brings a wealth of experience in the FM and PFI sectors, having recently held senior roles with SSE Enterprise and FES Limited.
He also brings extensive knowledge of project growth across the FM and energy sectors.
‘A turning point for the business’
Craig McGilvray, secure infrastructure managing director at Amey, said: “Frazer represents a turning point for the business and strengthens our already thriving projects capability within Scotland.
“We recognise that many of our clients need advice when it comes to managing and modernising their assets and our team has the knowledge and skillset to do this.
“By growing this service, we are able to offer our clients an end-to-end solution; managing and maintaining their property through FM delivery and ensuring their buildings remain fit for the future in line with public expectation and sustainability targets.”
Amey already delivers a wide range of project work across its UK defence, FM and justice portfolio. This capability integrates the business’s knowledge of public estates and its project management expertise.
The team is now growing this capability and has recently enhanced its bid pipeline after securing a place on several key strategic frameworks.
