Kier Construction has appointed David McKenzie as regional building London managing director

David McKenzie joins Kier in February 2021 to take on the role of managing director of regional building London with a focus on strategic development and long-term growth of the business in London.

McKenzie has over 30 years’ experience in construction, including extensive experience in executive leadership of operational businesses in the UK and overseas.

McKenzie joins from AECOM where he has been chief operating officer for its Europe, Middle East & Africa Construction Services business since 2013.

Before joining AECOM, McKenzie worked in senior leadership roles at both Lendlease and Bovis and was with Lendlease for over 20 years.

He has had extensive operational experience in a range of sectors including commercial, defence, healthcare, residential, retail and telecommunications.

Growing business in London
