New year promotions at Pegasus

New year promotions have seen colleagues at Pegasus recognised for their efforts and commitment to the business

James Atkin from the Birmingham office is now a senior director. Prior to joining the company in 2013, Atkin worked as a chartered landscape architect nationally and internationally. He continues to specialise in LVIA and strategic landscape planning.

Meanwhile, the Leeds office celebrates Dale Turner and Kate Curtis’ who have been promoted to senior directors. Turner had several years of experience in environmental planning and consultancy services. Curtis holds an impressive landscape portfolio that includes a range of sectors including residential and leisure developments.

Philip Robinson and Graham Lamb, both based in the Manchester office, have been given the roles of senior planning directors.

Robinson has expertise in residential and retail planning schemes. Lamb’s principle achievements are in the residential sector, where he has successfully advised a range of promoters and housebuilders through the Local Plan and planning application processes.

Katie Machin in Birmingham and Frances Horne in Leeds are now both directors.

Machin is trained as a landscape architect and planner and has significant experience in LVIAs. Horne spent her early career working with housebuilders and developers and aspires to deliver practical and sensitive landscape-led responses to sites.

Five colleagues have been promoted to associate level: Catherine O’Toole and David Pickford in the Birmingham office, Richard Morison in Bristol, Darren Muir in Liverpool and Rebecca Grace in Leeds.

O’Toole has a Masters in Town and Regional Planning; Pickford provides detailed planning advice and manages major and complex planning applications and appeals; Morrison specialises in project management, planning appeals, renewable energy and telecommunications; Muir was shortlisted for Young Planner of the Year in the RTPI North West Awards for Planning Excellence 2020.

Grace’s specialisms include commercial, residential, employment sites/warehousing, educational facilities and tourism.

Alastair Plowman in Birmingham has been promoted to associate landscape architect, as has Robyn Friesner in the Cirencester.

Annabel Roberts, also in Cirencester, has been promoted to associate environment planner.

Plowman’s experience lies in the residential, leisure, commercial, education and healthcare sectors. Friesner is a CMLI and Roberts has excellent knowledge and understanding in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).

Sophie Entwisle in Birmingham has been promoted to principal landscape architect; Ellen Krier, Leeds, is now senior landscape architect; and Jannah Zainal Abidin in Birmingham and Victoria Randall in Leeds are both now landscape architects.

James Clark, East Mids), Emma Ridley (Leeds), Jonathan Storey (Liverpool) and Kerry Walker and Kate Roberts (Manchester) have all been promoted to principal level.

The following have been named senior planners: Henri Scanlon (Bristol), Olivia James (Cambridge), Harry Ramsey and Adam Jones (Cirencester), Ben Gibson (Leeds), Bethany Lambourne (London), Nicolas Whittington (Solent), Katie Gregory (Birmingham) and Charlotte Connor (Newcastle).
