US director of PT Blink

Former Arup and Katerra engineering executive Will Watson appointed as PT Blink US director, the Australian construction and property tech company

Will Watson, based in Seattle, Washington, has been appointed as the PT Blink US director. It will be his responsibility to oversee all of the company’s operations.

PT Blink US director appointment follows multi-million partnership

Watson’s appointment as PT Blink US director follows a major partnership and multi-million-dollar capital raise with the owners of major US-based property developer and operator Holland Partner Group (HPG).

PT Blink technology will be applied to several HPG developments in the US as the cloud platform is created. Already an eight-storey apartment is underway in Seattle, Washington.

‘PT Blink is a step-change in the construction industry’

“Will is an exceptional talent and his experience, skills and relationships make him the right person to lead our US operations,” commented PT Blink Executive Chairman Mark Franklin.

“The US is our major growth market outside Australia and Will is ideally positioned to oversee our project pipeline and to build our horizontally integrated partner ecosystem as we transition into a cloud-based platform and marketplace.”

“PT Blink is a step-change in the construction industry and I am excited to be part of something that will drive substantive benefits for all stakeholders using our process, from developers and owners through to our partner network,” said Watson.

“It is a pleasure to be working closely with our partners HPG who clearly appreciate the benefits of speed, quality, safety and waste minimisation baked into our process. I look forward to expanding our ecosystem to scale those benefits via our cloud-based platform.”
