Morgan Sindall has released drone footage showcasing the progress made on its Ravensdale Infant School construction project, in Derby

Following a fire at Ravensdale Infant School last year, Derby City Council appointed Morgan Sindall to ‘rapidly’ build a £6.9m replacement facility.

Designs drawn up by Lungfish Architects feature new teaching spaces for 270 pupils and 26 nursery places.

The school consists of 58 modules which are quickly assembled onsite.

Construction work is expected to be completed in just 45 weeks. Demolition began in early 2021.

Morgan Sindall held a ‘rebuild it in a day’ event to teach pupils about the work being done on the construction project.

Students are due to move into the new building after next year’s summer half term (2023).
