Hiretest Limited, the groundworks contractor based in Watford and operating across the South East of England, has filed to appoint administrators
Hiretest Limited was established in 1991 by the Sugrue family.
Specialising in groundworks and reinforced concrete frame construction, Hiretest had worked with several high profile firms including Kier Group, Bowmer + Kirkland Group, Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall Group plc and the recently collapsed Readie Construction.
It is unclear what will happen to Hiretest’s 27 employees
Latest figures to May 2022 showed that Hiretest Limited generated a pre-tax loss of £77, 283 on a turnover of £28m.
With the notice to appoint administrators filed, it is only a matter of time before the future of the family-run firm’s fate- as well as that of the 27 employees affected.
