Fit out and refurbishment specialists Paragon Interiors Group Plc has gone into administration

Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery has been appointed to oversee the process at Paragon Interiors, based at Nottingham Business Park, as they now look for a buyer for the ailing firm.

Earlier this week it was reported that the company was struggling, as a leaked email revealed staff and subcontractors went unpaid.

Chairman Alan Hardy is also the owner of League Two football club Notts County and Nottinghamshire Golf and Country Club.

In a statement to Nottinghamshire Live, Hardy said:  “Further to recent reports I can confirm that administrators were appointed to Paragon Interiors Group Plc earlier [on 27 February].

“The directors met with the administrators to discuss a range of scenarios including the proposed sale of the business.

“All parties including myself are now working very closely together with the administrators to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties and people affected by this situation.”

Leonard Curtis has appointed Richard Pinder, Sean Williams and Alex Cadwallader as joint administrators.

The joint administrators are now seeking offers for the business in order to preserve jobs and maximise the return to creditors.  It is understood that the company employs in excess of 90 people.
