Willmott Dixon has been appointed by Telford & Wrekin Council to deliver the first phase of the town’s Station Quarter project, a regeneration project made possible after the council secured £22.3m from the Government’s Towns Fund

Procured via Pagabo’s Major Works Framework, the project brings together Willmott Dixon’s construction and development solutions expertise.

To be situated between town’s railway station and Telford town centre, the development will include new homes, as well as a digital skills and enterprise hub run by Telford College and the University of Wolverhampton.

The project is the latest in a proud history of regeneration schemes for Willmott Dixon. In the summer of 2020, the business completed the £20m regeneration of Rochdale Riverside, creating 200,000 sq. ft of retail and leisure space to encourage inward investment to the town.

Secondly in the Autumn of 2020, the business handed over the Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd to Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, delivering an innovative business and leisure scheme to replace a derelict 1960’s shopping centre.
