United Living Property Services (ULPS), a subsidiary of United Living Group, have been awarded a place on two National Housing Maintenance Forum (NHMF) frameworks

The frameworks are with Frameworx, a not-for-profit organisation launched in association with the NHMF by industry leaders.

Property Services provides various services to both public and private sector clients. It has completed the maintenance of over 200,000 homes and completes more than 40,000 urgent repairs a year.

The first is the Planned Maintenance Framework, and ULPS will be involved in several
workstreams, including external, internal and communal works, cyclical redecoration and pre-decoration repairs, net-zero carbon works, and passive fire safety works.

The second National Housing Maintenance Forum framework, the Responsive Maintenance framework, involves responsive maintenance and void property works.

The frameworks will align with United Livings’ sustainability goals

Simon Will, managing director, United Living Property Services, commented:
“We are delighted to have been chosen as a trusted contractor for Frameworx, in particular by an organisation that is bringing a unique ethos and approach to procurement, by prioritising social values and investing their surpluses in sustainability, research, and training.

“ULPS also recognises that regeneration can only be effective once the social, economic, and environmental benefits to a local community are considered, and we are looking forward to working closely with a company that reflects these values.”

United Living Group, across all its business lines, is committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions and the complete elimination of single-use plastics by 2030, as part of its commitment to achieving a more sustainable and circular economy.

Delivering social value and efficient procurement practice

David Miller, director, Frameworx, said: “A warm welcome to United Living onto the 2022 Planned Maintenance Net Zero Carbon Works framework, who join Frameworx’s engaged and established supply chain and share our passion to deliver better homes and communities.

“As our tagline ‘connect with the best’ suggests, working with Frameworx gives our social housing partners access to the best choice, experience, value for money and innovation from a UK-wide range of pre-qualified contractors, consultants, vehicle provision & building material suppliers.
