The development, delivered in partnership with Be First London, will provide 147 newly built apartments and 1,000 sqm of commercial space

42% of affordable housing will be available overlooking the waterfront, thanks to a collaboration with Barking and Dagenham Council.

Designed by PRP Architects, the architecture of the mixed-use development has been inspired by industrial warehouse-style brick facades.

Town Quay Wharf is also well connected with Barking station, the ninth busiest station in the UK, which serves approximately 7 million users a year.

Bob Weston, chairman & chief executive of Weston Homes, commented: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Barking and Dagenham Council at our new development Town Quay Wharf, not only providing a large number of private market sale homes in the regeneration area but also providing 42% of vital affordable homes.

“We are excited by this partnership with Barking and Dagenham Council as it truly enhances the accommodation options in what is quickly becoming one of the most vibrant and visited parts of East London.”
