Modular construction is the method by which a building or home is constructed offsite, within a factory setting. With the full construction of individual modules carried out offsite, the finished units are then transported to the development site for installation.

Whilst modular may not be entirely new to the industry, it is certainly experiencing a rise in popularity and gaining lots of media attention. This could be down to the fact that modular construction offers an affordable, sustainable and efficient construction solution.
