Commenting on her appointment, Mike Webb, HS&E director for Galliford Try, said:

“Climate change and environmental protection are among the greatest challenges we face, both as a society and a business, and we have a key part to play through minimising the environmental impact and carbon footprint of our operations.

“Carol will build on the excellent work we have done so far, collaborating with all parts of our business to build further momentum across this important area. I am delighted to welcome Carol to her new role and look forward to working together.”

Carol added:

“Galliford Try has some really exciting environmental ambitions so I’m delighted to be starting in my new role as Head of Environmental and am very excited to see how we develop in this important area.”
