Mark Syrett joins Currie & Brown as managing director for London and the South East

Mark Syrett joins Currie & Brown from Gleeds, where he led the consultancy’s UK rail business.

He is a chartered surveyor and has vast experience in the development and growth of the rail and infrastructure sector.

During his 25 years in the construction industry, Syrett has gained extensive experience across many business sectors.

He has been employed in consultancy, contractor and client organisations, building a reputation as an accomplished commercial director and programme delivery director, able to support clients by providing different business and delivery perspectives.

Syrett replaces Carl Bishop, who has moved to lead healthcare for Currie & Brown in the UK.

Digitisation and collaboration

Welcoming Mark to Currie & Brown, Alan Manuel, chief operating officer for the company’s UK and Europe business, said: “I am delighted that Mark is joining my senior management team to lead London and the South East.
