Rendall & Rittner has appointed Denzil Baisden as its new community engagement officer to strengthen the sense of community experienced by residents living in developments managed by the leading managing agent

Denzil Baisden moved to Rendall & Rittner in 2009, initially working as a member of the concierge team. Having briefly left to work as an account manager for Abbatt Property Recruitment, he returned to Rendall & Rittner in 2019 as divisional operations manager. Denzil also works as a school governor and has volunteering experience at a YMCA community centre.

Baisden’s new role as community engagement officer will combine his passions for customer service, community building, and photography.

With a commitment to providing high-quality services to its residents, Rendall & Rittner has been delivering a range of community events for many years.

While his predecessor Mark Gomes has moved to another part of the business, Denzil will focus on a series of events for residents across Rendall & Rittner’s nationwide property portfolio, which includes over 80,000 residential units under its management.

‘Developing skills and progressing in my career’

Commenting on his new appointment as community engagement officer, Baisden said: “Rendall & Rittner has helped me develop my skills and progress in my career. The company is great at matching the right people to the right roles and I am really looking forward to utilising my skills in my new role as Community Engagement Officer.

“I hope that the events run by Rendall and Rittner will encourage a growing sense of community within the developments we manage. I’m most looking forward to planning a calendar of events that residents can enjoy all year round. With Easter and the Queen’s Jubilee both rapidly approaching, I’ll be getting stuck into the diverse range of events currently being planned.”

‘Promoting community cohesion’

Managing director Richard Daver also commented: “With community development at the centre of what we do, we are delighted that Denzil is our new Community Engagement Manager.

“His passion for customer service and promoting community cohesion will be vital for this role. In his new position, Denzil will ensure that residents at developments across our portfolio are able to engage within their communities.”
