Leading bids for new developments
Helen Bunch, executive managing director at Wates Residential, said: “Being a family business allows us to take a long-term view and invest in the relationships we have with local authority and housing association partners.
“We listen to our customers and have created this new head of partnerships role and appointed Andrew to the task to be their internal voice.
“We are an ambitious business with significant growth plans, and by taking this approach we will be better able to deliver high-quality mixed-tenure schemes for our customers and create positive legacies for the communities around our projects.”
Andrew Savege, head of partnerships at Wates Residential, added: “Wates Residential has a very clear identity that sets it apart from other contractors and developers, significantly because it is a values-based, family business that is designed and set up to benefit society.
“These benefits will be maximised by working in partnership with our customers. I look forward to leading bids for new developments and to meeting and building relationships with the local authorities and housing associations we work with to create sustainable communities together.”
