Allianz, Landsec and Stanhope have joined Build UK as the latest client members to join the industry’s collective voice

Build UK is pleased to announce that Allianz, Landsec and Stanhope have become their newest client members.

Chief Executive of Build UK, Suzannah Nichol MBE said: “With the recent announcements of the construction sector deal and the focus to deliver the much needed infrastructure and housing across the UK, it is perfect timing that Allianz, Landsec and Stanhope join Build UK.

It not only further demonstrates the desire shown to work together from clients and developers, through to the whole supply chain, but it is real measure of success that Build UK is growing and bringing together both large and small businesses to discuss the challenges our industry is facing.”

Allianz Insurance plc is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and part of the Allianz SE Group, the largest property and casualty insurer worldwide. They have 86 million retail and corporate clients in more than 70 countries that rely on their knowledge and global presence around the world.

Allianz’s director of engineering, Chris Little said: “Joining Build UK is a fantastic opportunity to stay ahead of industry issues and further enhance our expertise in the industry. We are looking forward to working with Build UK on their key projects in 2018.”

As the largest listed commercial property company in the UK, Landsec has a portfolio that is a diverse mix of offices, retail and leisure in both London and across the rest of the country. With a portfolio value of over £14 billion, Landsec has been a defining figure in the UK property market since 1944.

Stanhope are property developers with 30 years’ experience and £22 billion of completed projects which have secured over 100 awards encompassing energy reduction, design and town planning. They have also commissioned over 100 research papers seeking to challenge and improve upon the way development and the buildings are produced.
