Mark Pausey, managing director at Kier Regional Building Central, commented: “We’re thrilled to have been awarded the next phase of this exciting project which will continue to develop our strong relationship with Everards.

“Everards has a deep-rooted heritage in Leicestershire and it is a privilege to construct its new home where it will continue brewing great quality beer as well as bringing a unique experience to its visitors.”

Stephen Gould, managing director, Everards of Leicestershire adds, “We’ve been working with Kier on this development since 2017 and have been really impressed with not only its work but also its approach and connection to our local community.

“There is strong trust and confidence which has been built up between the Everards and Kier teams and we certainly look forward to continuing this beneficial and collaborative approach throughout the build of our new home for the next generation of our family business.”

Throughout the project Kier has engaged with over 60 pupils from local schools by conducting site visits showing them the opportunities the built environment can bring. It has committed to creating local employment and work experience opportunities and so far has employed four local people, created three apprenticeships and had five work experience opportunities on site.
