Graham, Kings College hospital

Graham has been appointed through Procure22 to undertake a broad programme of works for King’s College Hospital in London, this includes increasing the support and treatment capabilities for Covid-19 patients

Graham will be responsible for a variety of works across the hospital including infrastructure upgrades and minor refurbishments.

In April Graham were responsible for completing onsite works to increase King’s College Hospital’s capacity to treat Covid-19 patients.

Having installed medical gas supplies to three wards within the hospital, the works have increased the hospital’s capacity to treat patients by 75 beds and creating a new layout that will allow efficient staffing models to be used, further increasing the trust’s ability to treat more acute patients.

Providing a safe environment

Graham’s project manager, Dave Brisco, said: “King’s College Hospital is one of the largest and busiest acute care facilities in London. We’re extremely humbled to be supporting the NHS at such a critical point in their history across a diverse range of projects.

“In 16 days, we were able to increase the hospital’s capacity to treat Covid-19 patients and provided a supported environment in which staff can work safely and efficiently.”

NHS Louisa Jordan hospital

This appointment follows Graham’s logistical work in the new NHS Louisa Jordan hospital.

As well as all external works including installation of medical gas infrastructure, drainage, ambulance wash bays, walkways and a mortuary for the new field hospital.
