The Demolition of a disused factory, known locally as the Hiltons Warehouse site, has begun to make way for the construction of Crocus Place, a Grade A office development in Nottingham’s Southside

The new development would add to the increasingly popular Southside area, complementing HMRC’s new regional headquarters at Unity Square, which is currently under construction, refurbished Grade A office space at City Buildings on Carrington Street and the Bildurn development on Station Street.

New seven-storey development

The original factory is located near the tram bridge over Queens Road below Nottingham Station. This site will act as the site compound when works begin on Crocus Place later in the year.

Crocus Place is a 125,000 square foot, seven-storey development being undertaken by the City Council’s Property Plus arm.

The development has the capacity to house a variety of tenants and will help address the demand for Grade A office space across the city to ensure the new development is fully occupied when it opens.

The creation of a vibrant new office sector alongside the developments at intu Broadmarsh, Broadmarsh Car Park, new Central Library, Nottingham College City Hub, Nottingham Castle and new public realm in the Broadmarsh area will help to turn the Southside area into a bustling part of Nottingham.
