The thermal efficiency of Actis Boost’R Hybrid Roof insulating breather membrane will come into its own as winter approaches.

An insulating breather membrane specifically designed for roofs will come into its own this autumn and winter, as it will help stave off the effects of the weather as temperatures plummet

Actis Boost R Hybrid Roof, which is aimed at the new build and refurb market, is proving extremely popular with specifiers and builders looking for an easy to use and thermally extremely effective way of eliminating condensation and preventing moisture entering the building.

An evolution of Actis’ popular product

The CE marked product, used on the cold side of roofs, is an evolution of Actis’ popular Boost R Hybrid.

The two Boost R Hybrid products also have the highest thermal resistance of any insulating breather membrane on the market and are extremely cost-competitive.

Both have LABC and LABSS registered details, are LABC warranty and Premier Guarantee approved and accepted by the NHBC when used in accordance with the certification.

The roof variant contains four special features developed following customer feedback, which set it apart from its sister product. It is easily distinguished from its sister wall product by its colour. The roof variant is black while Boost R Hybrid Wall is silver. Additionally, Boost R Hybrid Roof comes in larger rolls which cover 15 sq m.

The two changes making the most difference to the user experience are the addition

of a lap and the inclusion of built-in adhesive tape.

A series of bite-sized video tutorials look in detail at how to install the product.
