Tilbury Douglas has appointed Paul Thain as its new commercial director for infrastructure

Paul Thain will join Tilbury Douglas next month to support and drive the company’s growing infrastructure business.

Thain will sit on the infrastructure senior leadership team and will report to Chris Tyerman, managing director for infrastructure.

He brings with him over 35 years of commercial and operational experience working on infrastructure projects and repair and maintenance, within the rail and utility sectors.

Paul Thain was previously commercial director at Amey Utilities where he helped secure new contracts in water, power and telecoms, ensuring commercial governance and undertook business-wide commercial training and development.

He has a particular passion for the development and enhancement of UK infrastructure and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

Interserve Construction and Interserve Engineering Services recently rebranded as Tilbury Douglas Construction and Tilbury Douglas Engineering.
